The Development Regions Grant program is an Economic Development grant geared at creating jobs and investment in economically stressed areas of Palm Beach County. Palm Beach County provides matching funds to the Lake Worth CRA to fund economically feasible businesses interested in locating or expanding in the CRA. This is a once per year competitive program. Applications will be available again in January 2006

Applicants are eligible for up to $75,000 to assist with the capital costs associated with creating, relocating or expanding a business. Funding is based on the number of jobs created, and is typically reimbursed for acquisition of real property and construction or renovations. In Lake Worth, the CRA provides up to $25,000 in local match for projects proposed within the Redevelopment Area. Palm Beach County will match up to $50,000.
