The Lake Worth Community Redevelopment Agency is offering three grant programs which are meant to provide property owners with the opportunity to obtain assistance associated with the costs of doing enhancement and developing commercial properties within the CRA District. Specific details related to each grant program are set forth below.

The Commercial Facade Grant Program is designed to improve the “curb appeal” of commercial businesses located within the CRA District. Property owners within the CRA District may qualify for up to $25,000 in grant funds to perform exterior improvements on an approved project. This Grant requires a 50% match from the applicant, and may be used for both new and existing commercial structures and businesses. This grant is available on a reimbursement basis only.

The Commercial Signage Grant Program offers property and business owners within the CRA district assistance with the fabrication and installation (or replacement) of new, attractive, decorative and professionally installed exterior signage. This program will offer a forgivable grant which is solely intended to use towards the costs of new, professionally designed and installed permanent signage for eligible businesses. All grants requests are reviewed by CRA Staff with recommendations and final approval from the CRA Board of Commissioners. Applicants may qualify for up to $5,000 in grant funds to perform approved improvements. This grant requires a 50% match from each applicant. Funds are directly reimbursed to the applicants chosen signage company.

The Public Infrastructure Grant Program is intended for new large scale commercial development within the CRA District. Large scale commercial development is defined as development in which the project value exceeds $2,000,000. This grant will assist property owners and developers with the costs associated with making public infrastructure improvements associated with the development of the project. Applicants under this program may qualify for up to $100,000 in grant funds. This grant is available on a reimbursement basis only.
