LAKE WORTH FLORIDA — There’s a new brewery in Lake Worth transforming the city’s drinking culture and attracting beer aficionados. Just check out the “Untappd” app; people are reviewing the company already.
It’s called Mathews Brewing. And for owner David Mathews, who’s been home-brewing for more than 20 years, it’s a dream come true. This guy is basically living the life we were all advised to by our grade school teachers and college professors.
“Anytime you can turn your hobby into a business, life can be good,” Mathews told The Palm Beach Post after the opening.
We gave them a visit on Jan. 6, a week after their opening, to see what’s to love, and we found quite a lot. Here are 8 reasons we’re loving Mathews Brewing in Lake Worth and think you should too.
