Lake Worth Beach, FL -The Lake Worth Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is excited to announce that the organization is the recipient of additional Federal funding to be dedicated towards affordable housing programs in the City of Lake Worth Beach. On March 6th 2024, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL House District-22) announced that 13 local government and non-profit projects have received financial support as part of recently passed Federal funding bills for fiscal year 2024. One of the 13 programs is the allocation of $500,000 to the Lake Worth Beach CRA Attainable Housing Project. This initiative is attempting to provide new housing opportunities for families and individuals earning less than 120% of the area median income. Some of the tasks in which this funding will be used for includes acquiring properties, rehabilitating and constructing up to 50 properties in Lake Worth Beach, providing subsidies for rental projects and offering credit and home-buying counseling to prospective homeowners. This new allocation of funding is in addition to $750,000 that was awarded to the Lake Worth Beach CRA in early 2023 to help initiate the Attainable Housing Project.

The Lake Worth Beach CRA values the dedication that Congresswoman Frankel has shown to help improve the current housing stock and affordable housing crisis in the City of Lake Worth Beach.
